The job included replacing the rotten dormer sash and installing new Low-E glass in all dormers, with proper sealing, adjustment, and cleaning.
The work completed included the removal of the rotten window sash on the dormer and the installation of a newly fabricated wooden sash. The new wood was prepared and finished with paint or stain, using the customer’s material if a non-white color was required. The glass was sealed properly, the hardware was adjusted to ensure smooth operation, and the window was cleaned once all tasks were finished.
Additionally, all dormer windows had their existing glass removed. The openings were cleaned and prepared for installation, after which new 24 × 22-inch Low-E annealed glass with a 5/8 low-profile spacer and no grids was installed. The glass was sealed with the appropriate glazing silicone, and the windows were cleaned upon completion.
