Our team carefully removed the existing insulated glass unit and prepared the door for a new custom-fabricated insulated glass panel. The replacement glass was manufactured specifically for this application with a custom opening designed to accommodate the Pawport mounting system.
For improved energy efficiency and durability, we installed Cardinal tempered Low-E 270 insulated glass. The Pawport Smart Pet Door, finished in Glacier, was then professionally mounted directly into the new glass unit.
During installation, our team properly positioned and secured the glass, installed the required mounting components, and professionally sealed the assembly to help protect against air drafts and water infiltration. After installation, we inspected the door operation, glass alignment, seals, and Pawport system to ensure everything was functioning correctly.
