For this home in Monrovia, Maryland, our team completed a full-frame window replacement using Marvin Elevate windows. The homeowners wanted to replace their aging, rotted Andersen windows while maintaining the warmth and appearance of real wood on the interior.
Instead of simply installing replacement windows inside the existing frames, this project involved a full-frame installation. The existing window units were removed so the new Marvin windows could be properly installed, insulated, sealed, and finished.
The project included a combination of Marvin Elevate Double Hung and Casement windows. The new windows feature a Stone White exterior paired with a clear-finished pine interior, providing the durability homeowners expect from a modern fiberglass window while preserving the appearance of natural wood inside the home.
Marvin Elevate Windows Installed
The Marvin Elevate collection combines a fiberglass exterior with a real wood interior, making it an excellent option for homeowners who want the appearance of traditional wood windows without relying on wood as the exterior surface.
For this project, the windows included features such as Low-E2 insulated glass with Argon gas, Stone White fiberglass exteriors, clear-finished pine interiors, Oil Rubbed Bronze hardware, aluminum screens, and stainless-steel perimeter bars.
The combination works particularly well on this brick home because the clean exterior profiles preserve the home's traditional appearance while upgrading the windows with modern materials and energy-efficient glass.
Why Full-Frame Window Replacement?
A full-frame replacement can be particularly important when existing windows or frames have deterioration, rot, air leakage, or other age-related problems.
By removing the existing window rather than simply installing a new unit inside the old frame, our installers can access the original window opening and complete the new installation from the rough opening outward.
For homeowners comparing insert replacement vs. full-frame window replacement, the appropriate installation method depends on the condition of the existing windows, frames, trim, and surrounding structure. Our team evaluates these conditions during the estimate before recommending an installation approach.

Scope: Yaro and the ADS team completed a 9 window project for our family. This project included full frame replacements, in a brick house, of rotting Andersen windows with Marvin Elevate casement and double hung windows alongside European style tilt and turn windows. Overall Experience: Very pleased. Ready to use again. Highly recommended to my friends and neighbors. The attention to detail was evident throughout the experience. Yaro was easy to work with, he was very accommodating in our requests. I found it easy to discuss the plan and request specific changes that I would wanted to see. We confirmed changes to hardware, screens, and window composition/style throughout the quotation process. In the end, remember the window/door is only as good as the installer. A good window with a bad installation means nothing. 1. initial quote: Who doesn’t love a free quote, Yaro’s team was not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. He was the most detailed in describing the care required during installation and he shared where other companies would likely cut corners. This was confirmed further when questioning other companies on their installation process. 2. Project Execution: The ADS team showed up on time each day and worked through the day to complete the project in a timely manner. They were respectful of the house and took additional care in cleaning the job site each day. The project proceeded as scheduled. 3. Quality of Work: Excellent, we could not be more pleased. Every gap was foamed. Clean caulk lines and the retrimming work makes everything look brand new. I have no doubt these will be weather proof for years to come.
