**Custom French Door Modification for Pet Door Installation**

This project holds a special place in the history of **All Dwelling Solutions because it was our very first**[ **pet door installation project**](https://www.allds.com/projects?service=pet-door-installation). What started as a unique request from a homeowner became the beginning of a service we continue to provide to customers seeking customized pet access solutions.

The homeowner wanted to add a pet door to the existing French patio door without replacing the entire door system. Because the original configuration would not accommodate a standard pet door installation, our team developed a **custom solution specifically for the existing opening**.

We carefully removed the original double-pane glass and redesigned the glazed portion of the patio door.

For the replacement glass, we used **Cardinal Low-E 270 insulated glass.** The new insulated glass was professionally installed and sealed to help maintain weather protection and energy efficiency.

The pet door was then integrated into the new configuration, properly secured, aligned, and sealed. Once everything was completed, we performed a final inspection and cleaned the entire work area.
